Skuzzy Trading Post - Named after the only stern wheeler that was ever able to navigate up stream through Hell's Gate. It was successful only by the help of Chinese labourers who lined up along the Canyon walls with ropes and literally pulled the boat up stream.

You'll find a wide selection of books on the history of British Columbia and the Fraser Canyon - a historian's paradise with over 300 titles to choose from. There is also an attractive assortment of native handicrafts, moccasins, leather goods and western wear.

Souvenir seekers will be delighted to find some honest-to-goodness Canadiana in the Gold Panner Gift Shop. Quite possibly the most exclusive selection of British Columbia jade as well as a wide selection of Hell's Gate souvenirs and gifts.

Fudge Factory- Over 30 flavours of fudge are made on site! In 2002 the Fudge Factory made over 4 tonnes of fudge with over 117 different flavours. The Fudge Factory motto is : "Calories are only a matter of the mind, if you don't mind, it don't matter!"

You'll also find 16 different flavours of ice cream in our ice cream parlour!

Also, for those who would like to enjoy the outdoors, there is the Patio Cafe. Come on outside and enjoy smoked salmon and bannock, corn dogs and other light snacks as well as beer & wine and other cold beverages. The Patio Cafe is home to B.C.'s smallest outdoor pub.

Oh yes, and don't worry, we haven't forgotten "Fido". Your pets can enjoy a nice cold drink from the bucket in our "Pup Pub".

Fraser River Fisheries Display- Informative exhibits show the fishway construction and the life cycle of the spawning salmon. The Fisheries display at Hell's Gate is home to our award winning video "Run Sockeye Run". This documentary won a bronze award at the 1995 New York film festival for best short ecological film. Admission to the Fisheries display is included in your tram fare!

Salmon House Restaurant- Mouth-watering grilled salmon steak and "world famous" salmon chowder are available in this fully licensed restaurant. When the time comes to eat and be refreshed, our fine restaurant can offer you our famous Grilled Salmon or our equally renowned Salmon Chowder, described by Penny Wise of the Vancouver Sun newspaper as "probably the world's most exciting gastronomical experience". We have a variety of meals and light snacks for you to enjoy.

Our restaurant is set in a unique and rustic setting flanked with beautiful carvings created by renowned chainsaw carver Pete Ryan, with beautiful views of the gardens and Fraser River.

This is the place to try fresh salmon. May we suggest our "Salmon Dinner For Two" - a beautiful filet of salmon served on a sizzling hot platter. We also recommend salmon lasagna or how about this one... homemade Salmon Burgers. You'll have to trust us on both of these - you'll love them!

Gold Panning!! "Der's Gold in dem der hills" ! - You and your family will have the opportunity to strike it rich when you try your hand at Gold Panning. A mother lode of opportunity awaits as you sift your way through actual gravel taken from Hills Bar along side the Fraser River. Hills Bar is home to the biggest claim ever staked in the Fraser Canyon during the great Fraser River Gold Rush in the mid 1860's.

Suspension Bridge and Observation Decks- The original bridge taken out during the flood of 1948 has been replaced and re-structured for public river viewing access. Get a first hand look at the International Fishways that flank the Hells Gate gorge. Possibly even get a glimpse of rafters shooting the rapids.
