This one-way excursion has it all - the most spectacular journey in the world with mountains, lakes, wildlife and a one-of-a-kind experience. The Icefields Parkway is one of the few places in the world where features of the ice age still exist...and is home for bears, elk, moose, mountain goats, and sheep. The Columbia Icefield is its crown jewel, where modern-day explorers can take an Ice Explorer out onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier for a spectacular Ice Age adventure.

Built in 1940, the famous Icefields Parkway links Jasper and Banff National Parks along one of Canada's highest mountain roadways. Climbing from the low valleys to nearly treeline, experience three life zones, the montane, the subalpine and the alpine. Along the way we stop at major viewpoints of Athabasca Falls, Columbia Icefield, Crowfoot Glacier, and Peyto Lake. At the Icefields Centre you have time to visit the gift shop, the Glacier Gallery or snack at the restaurant, and ride on the Ice Explorer. Your excursion ends in the beautiful setting of Lake Louise.
