For over 70 years no trip to the Canadian Rockies has been complete without a cruise to Spirit Island on Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park.

This diminutive Canadian icon, floating amid turquoise, glacial waters is accessed via glass enclosed and heated boats.The 90 minute interpretive tours depart every hour on the hour throughout the summer season and are staffed by Tourism Guides and Ministry of Transport licensed Pilots.

Learn of the local history, geology, wildlife and glaciology of Maligne Lake and of Jasper National Park as some of the most spectacular scenery in the Rockies drift past your window.

Summary: Rates are per person in US dollars, include taxes but do not include gratuity. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 800-719-2186. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

At Spirit Island the boat lands to allow for a short walk to the viewpoint overlooking the mountain ringed southern shores of Maligne Lake; the equally famous backdrop of Spirit Island.

PLEASE NOTE: This sightseeing cruise takes place at Maligne Lake, about an hour drive from Jasper Township. Transportation to Maligne Lake is not included.
