This one-way excursion has it all - the most spectacular journey in the world with mountains, lakes, wildlife and a one-of-a-kind experience. The Icefields Parkway is one of the few places in the world where features of the ice age still exist...and is home for bears, elk, moose, mountain goats, and sheep. The Columbia Icefield is its crown jewel, where modern-day explorers can take an Ice Explorer out onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier for a spectacular Ice Age adventure.

Built in 1940, the famous Icefields Parkway links Jasper and Banff National Parks along one of Canada's highest mountain roadways. Climbing from the low valleys to nearly treeline, experience three life zones, the montane, the subalpine and the alpine. Along the way we stop at major viewpoints of Athabasca Falls, Columbia Icefield, Crowfoot Glacier, and Peyto Lake. At the Icefields Centre you have time to visit the gift shop, the Glacier Gallery or snack at the restaurant, and ride on the Ice Explorer. Your excursion ends in the beautiful setting of Lake Louise.

Summary: Tour includes free Jasper pick-up and drop-off at the listed locations. Child rates apply to children ages 6 to 15; under 6 may ride free in an adult's lap. Rates are per person in US dollars. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 800-719-2186. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Ice Explorer

Ice Explorer Ride (Snocoach) is included in the tour fare.

Please Note: When the Columbia Icefield Ice Explorer Ride (Snocoach) is not operating due to seasonal factors, this tour may be reduced by approximately 1 1/2 hours.

It is strongly recommended that passengers reserve and purchase their tickets at least two days prior to departure date to secure space.
