Journey to the Columbia Icefield along the spectacular Icefields Parkway in a luxury motorcoach. Follow the mystical rivers of the mountains: the Mistaya, and the mighty North Saskatchewan to the Columbia Icefield where its meltwater feeds streams and rivers that pour into the Arctic, Atlantic and the Pacific oceans. Experience our Ice Explorer ride where you will travel on a moving glacier, touch ancient ice and drink the fresh waters of the glacier.

With photographic stops at Crowfoot Glacier and Peyto Lake, we head towards the impressive view of the Big Hill. On this guided excursion, learn about the unique ecosystem and the creation of the glaciers you experience on the way to the Columbia Icefield. At the Icefields Centre, there is time to visit the Glacier Gallery, restaurants and gift shop, and take an unique ride on an all-terrain Ice Explorer. Return to Lake Louise in the late afternoon.

Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 800-719-2186. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

The price of Ice Explorer Ride is included in this tour.

The Icefield covers an area of nearly 325 square kilometers and reaches a depth of 250-320 meters.

Please Note: When the Columbia Icefield Ice Explorer Ride (Snocoach) is not operating due to seasonal factors, this tour may be reduced by approximately 1 1/2 hours.
